Co-Portfolio Manager, Total Income+ Real Estate Fund

Adam-LottermanMr. Lotterman is a co-founder of Bluerock Fund Advisors and serves as Co-Portfolio Manager of Total Income+ Real Estate Fund. Since joining Bluerock in 2012, he helped create the Fund’s structure and served as Associate Economist. He remains a key member of the investment decision-making team, coordinates day-to-day operations and is involved in formulating valuation protocols.

Prior to joining Bluerock, Mr. Lotterman was Vice President of New Business Development for Forman Capital LLC, a private commercial real estate lender. From 2010 to 2011, Mr. Lotterman worked with Bayview Asset Management where, as Senior Valuation Analyst, he led a team responsible for the valuation and acquisition of loan portfolios ranging in size from $100 million to $40 billion, as well as the formulation of workout strategies and analysis on complex non-performing loans.

From 2005 to 2010, Mr. Lotterman served as the Senior Analyst for Goodkin Consulting, where he developed extensive experience in real estate consulting, research and analysis on a national level. His key areas of responsibility included acquisition and disposition strategies, feasibility studies, and market analyses for multi-family, retail, office, mixed-use, industrial, condominium-hotels, master planned communities, private country club communities and active adult housing projects. Mr. Lotterman also worked with MMC Research, the elite internal advisement group at the Marcus & Millichap Holding Company where, from 2005 to 2008, he produced quarterly economic briefs, leading indicator analyses, demand analyses for acquisitions, market and sub-market analyses.

From 2010 to 2012, Mr. Lotterman was an Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University, where he taught Real Estate Market Analysis in the Masters of Real Estate Development program. He has also been a guest lecturer and panelist at the Florida International University School of Real Estate.

Mr. Lotterman holds a B.S. in microbiology and a minor in chemistry from the University of Florida and a Master of Science degree in International Real Estate from Florida International University, where he graduated first in class.
